Movable Lumps Behind Ear, Dizziness, Headache. Should I Be Worried?

I have two lumps behind my ear. It feels like they are on or over the bone. They are movable. One is pea size and the other is a little bigger. They are are not painful but have been there for a few months if not more. I have had some dizziness and headaches but I'm not sure if they are related. I have had headache since I was little so I'm guess not. They don't seem to be getting bigger. Should I be worried??

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these lumps behind your ear.

The description points to these lumps being swollen lymph nodes. The most common cause of this are infections. However, you are not reporting any signs or symptoms that suggest any infection now. Did you have any infection about the time you first noticed these lumps? If yes, then you need not take any further actions. If it is no clear to you, I would suggest that you get them checked out by your primary care physician just to make sure that they don't represent any other concerning underlying pathology.

For now, there is no pint in getting too worried. they are common findings and often without any major cause but, we must follow through and make sure it is the case.

I hope you find this helpful and it addresses your query fully. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. I wish you the best of health.
