Missing Periods, Tender Breast, Tiredness. Trying To Conceive. Negative Test Results. Advice?
My husband and I have been trying for a few months to conceive. Last month my cycle was late by four days and when it did start it was the brown, pinkish discharge. I only used pantyliners and that is not normal for me. Now this month my breast are tender and a little tired than normal. I did a pregnancy test two days past expected period and it was negative and another a week later still negative.

These symptoms do occur in a female with early pregnancy.
A negative urine test even when a female is pregnant can occur due to delayed conception.
To clear your doubts you can get B CG test which will clearly tell you about the pregnant state

Since you are trying conceive and no birth control pills, missed periods may be due to pregnancy. But since your UPT is negative, you can get blood HCG level to confirm/rule out pregnancy. Start taking folic acid tablets if not started.
The other possibility for missed period, other than pregnancy is hormonal imbalance or any infection. You can get done USG abdomen and pelvis and speculum examination if your blood HCG level in non pregnant stage or intra vaginal scan if HCG level is raised to correctly diagnose the cause.
Based on examination and investigation we can give correct treatment.
Keep genital area dry and clean. Maintain good hygiene. Hope this answered your question. Consult your doctor for further management.
