Missing Periods For Years, Was On Depo Shot, Came Off Years Back. Reason?

Hello my name is Santana im 28 ill be 29 on Nov.9th 2013 I have not had a period since May 2005! I was on the depo shot frog November 2002 till March 2005 I had a period for 4 days in May 2005 Then it STOPPED coming to visit every month. When I get my visit every year my GYN says everything looks great. And she jokes saying im so lucky most women would be happy not to have there period after 24yrs old but it worries me and I have never got pregnant and im almost 30yrs old I wanna start trying..Why would my periods stop so early in my life what could it be?

Hi, it appears that you have some harmonal imbalance, due to continuous usage of depo shots, for 3 years, or due to some other reason. If you have confirmed that you have no ovarian dysfunction, consult an endocrinologist for diagnosis. Thank you.
