Missing Periods, Bloating, Anxiety. Negative Pregnancy Tests. Am I Pregnant Or Is It Stress Related?

HI I have a regular period ever since. I had sex with my bf last June 24 (pull-out method) and until now I haven't got my period yet. I had my period last June 15 and ends on 20. I been so stress lately about this thinkin that I was pregnant and I did gain weight also. I also eating not in the right time so i think it may cause also to delay my period. Having anxiety also that I wasnt able to eat at all and just drinking water. I feel bloated the last week and feel that I was having something on my throat. I took pregnancy test 3 weeks after my last period and it's negative, on the 4th week it says negative again. It's been 2 months missed period and I was getting paranoid, since I never missed my period at all.I took pt again last Aug 16 and it's negative again. What do you think I was pregnant or I was just stress? Thank you

Hello,
I have gone through your history and understood your frustration about your missed periods.
I have seen so many cases like you with the simple cause which is stress which will decrease the amount of GnRH which causes us to not ovulate or menstruate. I advice my patients to have some lifestyle modifications to get relief from stress. In your case I think there is nothing to worry much about this as you have done your pregnancy tests and it came up negative. You will get missing your periods when you will continue to be stressed. I advice you to have meditation, regular exercises, healthy food , massage will help you a lot to get relieved from your stress and then you will definetly get your periods. But if still prolongs then you can have untrasonography done for this to rule out any organic causes. But dont worry much and be happy as there is nothing wrong. Thank you.
