OBGYN 's  Response
You are having withdrawal bleeding which can extent from simple spotting to severe bleeding There can be severe pain abdomen also You can consult your gynecologist for stopping bleeding She will give you tablets which arrest bleeding Your injections can be continued if willing or go for some other contraceptive methods There is no harm in having sexual relationship even with bleeding But due to hygeinic causes it is better to avoid coitus during periods Your contraceptive injection may be effective for 5 mnths but the effect decreases after 3 mnths hence we give the next injection Due to the effect of your previous injection you have not become pregnant even when you are sexually active
