oHi thanks for your question.
You have thyroid is incomplete statement.Everybody has thyroid and thyroid is very vital for life. What I can guess from your symptoms is you are hypothyroid which means your thyroid gland produce less thyroid hormone.Hypothyroid can cause increase in weight and menorrhagia that is irregular periods along with many more symptoms.I would suggest you to repeat your TSH,T3 ,T4 levels and if TSH levels are high and T3,T4 levels are less, you hypothyroid.I would suggests you to consult a physician who will be able to treat your hypothyroid state.
Hope this answers your question.
Misiing periods and gaining weight are features of hypothyroidism.
Get your thyroid function tests done.
In case TSH is raised and T3, T4 are low; you may need to start thyroxine or to increase the dose if you are already taking it.
Consult your doctor for tests and prescription of the drug.
Thanks and take care
