Missed Periods, Prescribed Modus Tablets. Will I Get Periods After Taking Them?

Hello DOctor... we had a intercourse on 20th day from my last period ... but my period is not happened even after 33rd day i consulted doctor she prescribed Modus tab ... I have two doubts.. 1. If intercourse happened on 20th day is there any chance of pregnancy ? 2. if i use MODUS tab for 5 days is my period come back?

Hello,
Ovulation occurs two weeks prior to the onset of the next cycle and if you happen to have regular 28-30 day cycles, you were in the safe period when you had the intercourse. The fertile period ranges from day 10-day 18 in such a cycle. I would ask you to get a HPT with a fresh early morning sample to exclude/confirm pregnancy before starting the treatment course with Modus. If pregnancy is negative, you can get the hormone treatment to induce a period, which usually occurs 3-7 days after completion of the treatment. Hope this helps.
