Hi, I am Roopa basically from India but currently residing in US. I skipped my periods for 2 months. though recently married (feb-2012), I got negative preg test. I did meet a doctor here. she took 120$ and just checked urine preg test and said evrn she got negative and suspects poly cystic ovaries . Yes i did had this problem 2 years back. I was under medication and doctor had given me 2 tablets one is daine and one more i dont remember..It sounded like REG or something. Can you please suggest

Hello dear, I understand your problem but If this was the first time you got your periods late. PCOS is a hormone disease which affects menstruation and conception at many levels and at times doesn't affect the health of the woman at all. So this time wait for your periods if you don't get them or this thing recurrs again then get your hormone profile and pelvic ultrasound done. Take care and wish you all the best
