Hi, I missed my period last month but have been suffering cramping since then. I would be due to get my period again soon and am suffering the same symptoms I usually do when I am due mood swings. hot flushes, etc. . I took two pregnancy tests which both came back negative. I am worrying that there could be something seriously wrong with me.
Hi thanks for your question. One important point in history you have not mentioned is that your cycle is over due by how many days? Pregnancy test usually turns positive 10 to 12 days after missed periods. You may have gone for pregnancy test little too earlier .The symptoms you have described are called as premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and in good number of females this occur before periods .Repeat the pregnancy test 10 to 12 days after missed period, if the test turns out to be negative, Probability of premenstrual syndrome is there and you may have your normal periods 1 to 2 days after PMS Hope this answers your question.
