Missed period with tiredness. HPG is negative.

Help! I have missed my period. I am late for 3 weeks, I have pain sometimes at night like I m going to start my period but I don t. I m very tired all the time and hungry. Sometimes I have diarrhea . I feel sometimes like I have gained a lot of weight but it might just be from all of these problems. I haven t been dieting, working out hard, or been under stress. I thought I might be pregnant but I used two home tests they were negative. I am scared, I just want to know what problem I can have?

Thank you for consulting with us.

You need to consult your gynecologist. There is no hurry but you do need to see your doctor because without a physical exam it would be difficult to make a diagnosis.

Please feel free to ask us if you have any other queries.

Thanks for query,
As your period is late by 3 weeks and preg.test is negative but I will advice to go for blood hcg test.
If this test is negative then possibility of having hormonal imbalance or due to heavy stress you mentioned.
Ultra sound will help.

Ok and bye.

Cardiologist Dr. Naresh Ruparelia's  Response
Hi well come to HCM
Since repeated test for pregnacy is negative chances of being pregnant are less.At
times due to over anxiety and phobia of pregnancy can delay your period.Get done thyroid tested since you are feeling heavyness in body. And usg abdomen to look for
PCOD that can also give menstrual irregularity.Annd finally still if you have anxiety
and doubt of pregnancy get doe your Blood HCG level and if negative that is final answer
of not being pregnant. Thanks
