Hi thanks for your question.
Your pregnancy test is negative so most probably your not pregnant, but since length of your cycle is irregular negative pregnancy test does not rule out pregnancy
it is better for you to get your ultrasound done to rule out or confirm the pregnancy.
Even ultrasound cannot pick up early pregnancy .
ultrasound picks up pregnancy once the fertalized ovum is implanted inside uterus.
Hope this answers your question.

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Oligomenorrhoea refers to infrequent periods, with periods occuring 35 or more days apart.
It can be due to a number of factors such as(1) inadequate nutrition (2) excessive physical activity (3) abnormal levels of thyroid hormone (4) PCOS- polycystic ovarian syndrome is a condition where a person has irregular/infrequent periods, infertility, insulin resistance, abnormal hair growth, cysts on the ovaries. It is treated with weight loss , metformin and other medicaitions depending on whether the person wishes to conceive. (5) abnormal levels of prolactin hormone (6) stress

You may want to consider visiting your doctor who would evaluate you by history , examination and any necessary investigations.
In most cases it is easily diagnosed and treated.

Hope this helps

Hello,
It is possible that after this length of time you might be pregnant and if that is the case, you can always relay on doing pregnancy test but i suggest you go to a clinic and get the test performed by a health expert either by dosing hCG in blood or doing a urine test. But if the test is negative then it is possible that you are having irregular period and if this is your first time, you should not worry and know that most women in their reproductive age might experience irregular menses/ skipping periods.
Do take note that stress, change of usual habits, food, abnormal hormonal changes etc might cause this. So, just give it some time and allow your system to fix itself. It might come back in a few days, few weeks or months. The thing is allow sometime and avoid being stressed i.e if you are.
Wish you the best and hope this helps
