Migraines, headaches on waking, disturbed sleep. Taking painkillers. Treatment?

hi i am a mother and a wife and 51 years old.i have suffered from migraine for for a year also i have to deal with headaches that start in the early mornings of the day.i go to bed well and get up around 3am with a painful head.i will have to take pain killers for the pain to go.please tell me what is going on with me.
