Metallic Taste In Mouth, Sneezing, Cough, Burning Feeling In Nose And Throat

I have a permanent feeling of having water going up my nose, a metallic taste in my mouth, occasional sneezing and coughing. This has been the case for many months and I at first put it down to hay fever which I have never sufferd from before other than noticing rape seed. There is also a metallic /burning feling in my nose and throat.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
In my opinion you are having .
1 Asthmatic allergic bronchitis , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical as well clinical examination by a physician . Also history of illness will find out the cause. The metallic taste ( smell ) in the mouth and nose is due to this sort of allergy and usually most of patient complaint about such metallic taste.
2 Bronchiectasis , diagnosis can be confirmed by X RAY chest and swab examination of expectoration .
3 Tuberculosis is one another reason of such symptoms . Diagnosis can be confirmed by X RAY X chest and blood for e s r .
In my opinion consult a physician and get his opinion regarding asthmatic allergic bronchitis.
Good luck. Dr. HET
