Menstruation Continues After Four Months Of Delivery. Is This Normal ?

My sister in law is 20 years old and had a premature baby at november 23,2010 by ceaserean.After the delivery her menstruation had not stopped for a single day.Now she has become very weak.She had tests to see if there is any tumor problem but result was nil. Doctor has prescribed 1 month medicine but 10 days have already passed without any result.What should she do now?

After a caesarean section, it is usual to have an irregular bleeding for one and a half month.But bleeding for so long means there is a problem. She needs to undergo an ultrasound scan to rule out any adherent part of membranes.
