Our daughter, age 21, suffered a TBI on May 26, 2012. While in ICU she began her menses but has not had another since that time. She was on birth control pills at the time. She has not taken any since. She has not had any children prior. She did not have any trauma to abd, pelvis or have any other issues other than the TBI. She is now in the rehab phase and progressing wonderfully but still no menses. Is this still an ok period of time, part of the trauma period, to wait for her body to reboot itself?
