Medical Advice For Hypothyroidism

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism December 2009. I was very tired. I was started on replacement and now I feel better. My doctor checked a lab called anti thyroid antibody, it was negative he said. My tsp is 1.4. I am wondering if I need any more tests to find out why My thyroid is not functioning

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

Your have history of hypothyroidism and you are taking medicine for that.

Your TSH level is normal and no anti thyroid antibodies. So now your thyroid hormones are ok. No need to test further. Just continue the thyroid replacement therapy according to advice.
