Maroon Colored Streaky Bowel Movements Followed By Maroon Spotting. Had Eaten Roasted Beet And Carrot Salad. Cause?

Two days ago I had roasted beetsvand raw carrot salad for dinner. I have had two maroon colored streaky bms two days in a row. Some maroon color on toilette paper , too. Beets?

Its highly possible that the change in color of your stools is due to the beets. The problem should subside soon. If this problem continues for more than 2 days, please get a routine stool examination done.
