Male Pattern Baldness, Alopecia. Taking Minoxidil And Finasteride. Does It Have Side Effects?
Hi Doctor,
I am a 26 - year old male living in Delhi and suffering from Male Pattern Baldness (Andogenic Alopecia), I think I am at NW-2ish stage. I am doing a lot of research on the internet in order to find the best possible treatment for MPB available in India. In case of Hair the treatment takes time and one might have to continue the medication for a very long time hence along with the factor of good results there should also be minimum side-affects.
The most popular solution of Hairfall in allopathy can be the combination of Minoxidil and Finasteride (as they have clinically proven results), however many scary side-effects are associated with it.
Homeopathy and Ayurveda treatments can be very effective in stopping the hair loss but what about the hairs that have already been lost...
So my question will be is there any equally effective alternate solution of Minox+Fin in Homeopathy or Ayurveda , as it will have min side-effects in this case? Have there been patients who have shown regrowth with these ?

Hi i do not think there is any alternative for miinoxidil in any form of treatment in ayurveda or homeopathic and sidda medicines.there are only minimum side effects with minoxidil like severe headache.vomiting.rebound hair loss. erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation are minimum side effects of finasteride which are reversible.q-sera can be used alternatively where u will see visible effect within 20 days.if no response go for hair transplantation.

Hi you can go for platelet rich plasma treatment.this has no side effects. This is combined with peptide sprays and shampoo.
