MRI Revealed Non Specific Brain Lesions. Diagnosis?
Last week I had an MRI which showed non specific brain lesions. I have been given very little information from the neurologist that I saw. I asked alot of questions about the type, size and number of lesions. He was unable to answer my questions or give me a diagnosis. He told me he needed to look at the MRI not just the paper report.
Hi, welcome to HCM.
If there are no details mentioned in your report then your neurologist is correct. However if there is any lesion in brain then report must include its characterisation. Hopefully your report may have it in details.
There is no harm in showing images to neurologist. He is final decision making doctor for further management.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards.
