MRI Results Comes As Withcongenital Defect. What Does This Mean ?
My son had an mri due to headaches. the results came back saying " in the left vertex there is a 1.6x 0.8x 0.8 parenchymal defect consistent withcongenital defect". what does this mean?

i have had maybe like 2 mri's done due to a weird condition i have thats physically affecting my face, for a long time too. it is similar to bell's palsey. anyway they told me it wasnt bells palsey and 1 doctor said it was. i got my mri and they said that there was nothing wrong. but my face and the nerve pain is pretty bad. any help for me??

It would mean that there is a congenital defect there meaning to say some defect in that region which developed during the development of the baby inside your womb when you were pregnant.
