Lump On Pelvic Area, Purple, Bleeds Sometimes. Possible Cure?

I have a lump on my pelvic area it's like purple and sometimes blood can come out of it. It dosent hurt at all but it's really annoying iv had it for ages now and I have t had it checked out just incase it is serious which Im hoping it isn't. I have always had protected sex so I don't think it's related to this? I also so shave a lot so I don't no if I have cause it from this.? Please help. Thanks

Hi and welcome to HCM.
It sounds like benign subcutaneous lesion. Most common are lipomas, vascular tumours,cysts and ateromas. It usually dont cause problems until it become inflammed. Also this can be foliculitis. As you have certain symptoms i suggest to remove it surgically because it wont heal by itself. Also malignancies are rare,but must always be ruled out. The only way to be sure is to perform biopsy or removal.
