Dentist 's  Response
There are different conditions that could have description.Sometimes it sounds like one or both oh front teeth may be infected. An x-ray would easily show this.If that is case you need to be on antibiotics and or painkillers until the infection goes down and pain gets better.Another condition is mucocele,is a salivary cyst.It originated from a ruptured small salivary gland which are located in several areas of mouth, one of them being palate. Some mucocele spontaneosly resolve on their own after a short time. Others are chronic and require surgical removed.Shallow may burst;while deeper mucoceles became sore and painful.I would advice you to visit your dentist to identify the problem and treat it accordingly.

Most likely possibility in this case is a abscess or focal soft tissue edema/cellulitis.
