Lump On Forearm, No Trauma, Purple Bruise

Four days ago, I experienced a sudden, large egg-size lump on my forearm , having experienced no trauma whatsoever. My Dr never looked at it, but instructed me to ice and ace- bandage it. It did diminish, somewhat, however , my arm is EXTREMELY bruised in a large area, very purplish-red from elbow almost to wrist . Still have a lump, but not nearly as large.

Hi
It looks like you have acquired infection of the upper limb.
The upper limb has to be kept elevated.
Please take good antibiotics like Clindamycin and cefuroxime and anti inflammatory medicine.
Please consult a surgeon and proceed accordingly.
Sometimes,if pus is collected,it has to be drained.
Wish you speedy recovery
