Lump behind the ear, itchy, bleeding. Any suggestion?

Hi i have had a lump behind my left ear for almost 10 months now. When i first felt it that 10 months ago... i went to the dermatologist and they had no concerns with a visual check but never took a biopsy. Now its become a huge irritation, very itchy to the point where i would make it bleed if i didnt have such self control stopping me. If its changing from something that hadnt bothered me in the past, to something that is, could it be changing into something of a health concern? Should i bpther getting it looked at once more? If no, then is there something that would ease the itch?

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. I will advise you to visit a surgeon for this not dermatologist. It must be an abscess. Usually lump behind ear indicates swollen lymph node due to local infection but as you have mentioned about itching it seems like abscess which is not a correct diagnosis but only after examination we can decide about this. Ok, for now you can take tab.avil for itching. Thank you.
