Lump Above Armpit, Pain From Elbow. Taking Weights In Gym. Doctor Analyses As Muscle Tendon. Give Me Suggestion

I'm a 43 year old sinewy male. Very active with weights in the gym. About 2 weeks ago I observe a lump just above my armpit area, right on the armpit muscle so to speak.(Not in the centre area.) My only pain comes from my elbow area which I have had for years and can confidently attribute it to over working at the gym and poor technics. I visited my Dr. upon examination she said it doesn't look like swollen lymph nodes but a muscle tendon. Still freaking out! Any suggestion of the cause?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
It could be lipoma, and if it is so, then pain is out of question, as you said the pain may be due to some uneven technic, and not related with swelling, keep a close watch on swelling, if it is increasing in size, become tender then you have to go for a certain investigation, such lesion always demands clinical examination and makes lot of difference, if it is lipoma then no need to do any thing, have nice day.
