Lower Shin Injury, Mild Bruising, Severe Swelling And Pain, Feeling Of Indentation And Numbness In Middle. What Could It Be?
I took a cleat my lower shin (right above my ankle) while playing college soccer today. Its bruising a little bit, but I have severe pain and swelling . In the middle, it feels like there is an indent and it is very numb. It hurts when I walk but not so much that it stops me from moving. What could it be? Will it stop be from playing next weekend?

An xray of that region s/b done.
If it is a stress fracture, immobilsation is required.
