Lower Body Temp, Cold, Lethargic With Odd Body Odor In A 58 Yr Old Female With Lupus, Fibromyalgia And Osteoporosis.

I have a low body temp of 96.5. My temp normally runs 97.5, so I have a low one anyway, but I am cold, lethargic, hard to motivate myself, and I notice an odd body odor. It s happened before about 5 years ago, but when I told my Dr he said I must have had a broken thermometer or read it wrong, since at that time it had gone down to 94. I have had Lupus since early 20 s , fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, are my major health problems….I am 58 and female.

Hi,Welcome to health care magic forum.
As you describe the low temperature is usually happen due to the sweating. It may be secondary to the fibromyalgia, osteroporosis etc. The sweat in turn may cause bad smell of the body.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and then periodically along with pain medication.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
