Lower Back Pain. Taking Calcium Supplements And Ibuprofen. Been Swimming And Walking. What Else Can Help?

I started having extreme left lower back pain yesterday morning to the point that I could almost not walk. Came up out of the blue - have had no health or physical problems. Been swimming and walking almost every day.
Take Calcium + D daily. Today is the second day of extreme pain. Once I get up and moving about and take 600 mg ibuprofen I feel better but not pain free.

Welcome to HCM
Greetings of the day
Are you having any shooting pain to high and buttock, any weakness or numbness of lower limb? If you have any of these you could be having disc problem. As the pain is still there after taking 48 hours of medicine then consult a Orthopedic/Spine surgeon at earliest.
Take Care

hello dear,
thanks for your query at health care magic,
backpain most of the times it is bacause of improper positioning of your spine during sitting and sleeping
sleep on slight hard surface not on soft cushions,
while sitting sit properly supported in back .
you continue your medication and exercise.
hot fermenting of back may releive your symptoms.
