Low Grade Fever, Chills, Abdominal Pain, Stomach Pain. What Is Happening?

I have a low grade fever (99.4), chills, and abdominal pain that hurts whether standing, sitting or lying down. I ve had the stomach pain since last night, but felt better this morning, only for the pain to return. I haven t been able to eat as much lately & noticed laughing made the pain worse. Just curious as to what may be happening.

Hi,
There are many causes of this type of abdominal pain. Appendicitis is one cause. Therefore, I suggest you see your doctor so that you can be examined and, if indicated, investigated for this.
Regards,
Dr K A Pottinger,
MBChB. FRCA.
