HI,
Exercise might actually help you . Low Vitamin D levels , which is vitamin very important in Calcium absorbtion could also mean low calcium levels. Hypocalcemia or low calcium levels is a disease that could present its self with numerous symptom. I would advise you to do a blood calcium level test. Vitamin D supplementation with regular blood checks for its levels could also be of help. Other ion defficiences or excesses in the body could lead to you feeling general discomfort in your muscles. Running also potassium and sodium ion levels in the blood could also be beneficial. Started your vitamin D supplementation on the prescribed doses as prescribed by your physician is actually advisable and could be of great help.
Meanwhile, consider running blood tests for other ion abnormalities and do not relent in doing your physical exercise.
Thanks and fast recovery,
Luchuo, MD.
