Lots Of Pain And Vomiting Blood! !

hi my name is Holly Brown. I have been vomiting blood for the last 7 months and have been to the hospital 5 times. I have had 4 OGD'S Ultra sounds scans and blood tests etc. I have started being in a lot of pain The only way I can describe it is like a burning crampy stabbing pain in my upper abdomen both sides and goes right the way through to my back. the vomiting has got worse and is now several times a day just fresh blood. Im at a complete loss as to what to do. Im finding it really hard to move and keep blacking out when I stand or lie flat. Also when I stand up or move around I get this dull stabbing pain right in the centre of my chest above my heart that stabs in time with my heart beat. Really need some help.

Hello, Holly Brown,
Iunderstand that your OGD's (Endoscopies) and ultrasound studies
were negative eventhough you had all this fresh blood vomiting.
If there were no lesions found in the stomach or esophagus, I would
suspect something in the throat or pharynx.I am hoping that you are not
inducing vomiting to lose weight.
You may have a broken blood vessel during induced vomiting from
wretching and have blood.
Other causes would be abnormal blood vessel in the stomach called
angiodysplasia which could bleed intermittently.
Wish you good health.

General & Family Physician Dr. Bharath HS's  Response

Now vomiting blood is the alarming sign/symptom. For that what should be done is to see the origin of this blood, like in the throat, esophagus, stomach, etc. Or is there a bleeding/clotting disorder that is causing this. Once the cause is found, there wont be much of a trouble in getting it treated. For that an endoscopy is the best method which you have got. What were the findings?
