Such chronic problem can be caused by severe bacterial infection, pancreas
disease, gallstones or IBS. Some tests needs to be done to rule out this conditions.
I suggest you to visit gastroenterologist and discuss your problem. Stool tests, abdominal ultrasound
, blood work, liver tests (AST,ALT,GGTP,AP), amylase
, lipase, urine amylase should be done.
If you are 50 or older, colonoscopy
should be also done.
Sometimes great effect gives Rifaximine treatment for severe infection.
