Loose Motions, Green And Frequent. What Is The Reason?
Hullo sir,
My mother is 88 with no blood pressure or diabetes. She is having loose, green motions very frequently for the past 3 days. The problem started soon after she returned from seeing her brother in a place which is 250 km one way. She had taken a taxi both ways. Has she been struck by loo (hot winds in north india). She stays in Lucknow.
Give her NORFLOX_TZ twice a day, electral powder 2 tsf with 250ml water after every stool. Also give her rice-water half cup 2-3 times a day . Plenty of water orally and liquid diet till bowels control. Get her checked for PULSE, BP and for signs of dehydration
Hi,
Your mom is 88 yrs old, not a known HT,DM or common ailment. After travelling for a long distance by taxi in a hot climate she has loose, green motions very frequently for the last 3 days. Sun stroke like symptoms are dehydration, tired, fatigue and unconsciousness . But your mom is having a simple acute gastro enteritis (AGE) some thing connected with food and water. A simple treatment for AGE after motion examination will make her alright.
Best wishes
