Lips turned white,, cracked, might have a thyroid issue, appetite fluctuates. Could this be stress?

I noticed today that my lips turned white, and they are normally very nice and dark pink. They are a little cracked, but I put chapsticj on and they are soft, but still white. I might have a thyroid issue, I can t gain weight easily, and my appetite fluctuates between good and bad constantly. Could this be stress? I ve been going through a lot

Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
From the description that you have given it appears that you are having anemia- an illness of blood wherein your hemoglobin level gets too low. You start looking pale and your appetite may also come down.
you should also get your thyroid levels done.
The best way to confirm anemia is doing a complete blood count.
If it is positive for anemia then you should start taking iron capsules and eat green leafy vegetables.

Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
