Lips And Cheeks Swollen, Lumps. Heavy Drinking And Vomiting. History Of Sinusitis. Anything To Concern?

I've had a sinus infection for about two weeks now. 3 days ago did some heavy drinking. Blacked out, woke up extremely intoxicated 10hrs later. I ended up throwing up once after waking, the vomit was very toxic. Later I took a nap, and after I woke I tried to eat and was greeted with the worst throat and mouth pain. It's been two days now and my throat doesn't hurt anymore, but I have two swollen lumps on the roof of my mouth, semetrical/ one on each side, painful to the touch! And my lips and cheeks feel slightly swollen as well! What could this be? Is it from my sinus infection or from the alcohol? Help! Also the two lumps are ocompanied by sinus pressure.

Dentist 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

According to your clinical symptoms i suspect that you have developed a bump on the palate (roof of the mouth) due to allergic reactions cheek and lip swelling are also associated with it.
I would suggest you to visit the Dentist and get the checkup done, take an OPG radiograph to confirm the diagnosis and plan appropriate treatment. Take lukewarm saline rinses to give soothing effects.
Apply Dologel oral ointment topically over the affected area.
Avoid smoking and alcohol as it may worsen the condition.

Hope this helps out.

Regards..
