Light Bleeding, Spotting After Periods. Have Healthy Sex Life. Should I Be Worried?

H i, My name is Lori. I am a healthy, physically fit (5'11-125 lbs) 45 year old women. I recently started what I think is my period just 2 weeks after my last. It's mostly spotting now, light bleeding but I am concerned. I keep myself very clean and have a very healthy sex life with my fiance'. Should I be worried??? It is kind of getting in the way if you know what I mean. Thanks for hearing me out. Your advise would be welcome.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The mild spotting that you are having in the middle of the cycle could be related to hormonal changes due to ovulation or a mild irregularity of periods. In case the bleeding persists for more than 3-4 days then do consult your gynecologist for treatment.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
