Lichen Schlerosus Since 12 Years, Having Type 2 Diabetic Symptoms. Any Connection ?

Dear Sir, I have had lichen schlerosus for 12 years and am now getting diabetes type 2 symptoms - are they connected? Also my doctor wasn t happy with my heart echo at the surgery, so I had an echocardiogram and that came back normal. She still wants me to see a cardiologist , so is there something connected with type 2 diabetes that I may have? Thankyou from AAAAA.

Your DM may be secondary to the medicines you would have taken for your skin disorders ( steroids) So consider the drugs while you are treating your diabetes
