Lengthy Periods. Given Novelon, Regestrone And Tranexa Injection To Stop Bleeding. Advice?

i have the problem of heavy period for last 1 year,my doc asked me to take novelon continuously for 21 days from the first day of my period,i took it for 5 days only for some reason.......after that my period was continuous it wont stop.I further visited my doc and was advised to take regestrone,but it only worsened the condition,i had to take tranexa injection to stop my bleeding........But this month again my period is continuous for last 12 days.............wat shuld i do???why is it happening.........i am 20 yr old and unmarried and all my reports are normal.

Hi,
You have used the pills erroneously and this may have added to the hormonal imbalance already existing. Since you did not say what reports you have, I cannot comment on that. In the current scenario, you would need a complete hormonal profile, blood counts, trans-vaginal sonogram and urinalysis. Your system would need training through regular pill use until the abnormal bleeding pattern ceases along with any specific treatment needed. You would also need nutritional supplements, maintenance of a healthy weight and a healthy diet. Wish you good health.
