Leg Turned Red Till Knee, Moving Downwards, Unable To Walk. What Is This ?

Hello i have a brother in law who is 82 . He got home to Canada from Austia after he got home , a few days later his leg turned red to the knee, he wnet out side one day and his legs gave out on him and he fell, when people picked him up he still could not use his legs, the redness has moved down his legs, he is able to walk, he did go to the hospital and they put him on anti biatics and took blood tests AAAA

Hello.Redness and swelling of the leg suddenly and if now is receiving antibiotic treatment, cellulite is a possible diagnosis.Cellulitis is a skin infection.
The causes are diverse.An insect bite on his recent trip for example can be the cause.Also pathologies like diabetes frequently cause cellulite.
If cellulite is the diagnosis, should receive antibiotic treatment and wait to see the evolution of redness and inflammation.
