hi i have fractures my jus above my knee on the side iwas in terrible pain for 3 weekd mydoctor said i have pulled aligamen it will take 5 to six weeks toheald anywaymy pain went away i carried on my work no pain but my leg was swallen when to the doctor gave me an xray found out my leg was fractured and to late to put acast on gave mebrace to wear still iam not in pain

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Since there is a fracture in the knee, it is best to avoid weight bearing on the leg. As it is too late to put a cast, you can use a crepe bandage or use a knee brace to provide rest to the knee for at least 4 weeks.
