Leg Pain, Swollen Lymph Nodes, Fever. Taken Tylenol, Amoxil. Blood Work Shows Elevated Platelets, Low WBC

Son has been sick for a good month. Leg pain, swollen lymph nodes, fever (as high as 105 untreated and 104 with tylenol) First time was DXed with ear infection and possible pneumonia (sats were 94%) and was treated with Biaxin. Second time was DXed with nothing - just fever - treated with amoxil. Now a day after Amoxil is over - fever is back to 103. Blood work showed slightly elevated platelets, lowish WBC, basically showed an anemic kid. Very worried.

Hi,
A case of your son requires evaluation.
Go for,
1, x-ray chest,
2,complete blood testing with ESR,
3,Montoux test,
4,Complete urine, routine and microscopic.
After all reports we might get some clue about his problem.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
