General & Family Physician, Dr. Vidya KR's Response
Thanks for using HCM Your symptoms are more in favour of acute mountain sickness, for those who ascend to high altitudes due to pressure changes in air results in headache, giddiness and other symptoms. You can take analgesics like paracetamol 500 mg for pain relief. Cramps in leg could be due to dehydration, take lot of liquid and do regular walking exercises. Chances of DVT is negligible in your case, DVT is common in those who are bed ridden for more than 4 to 5 days. DVT presents with swollen leg, severe pain , bulging veins on legs, painful leg movements. You need not have to worry for DVT. Have a good health.
