Dear Concerned.,
Thanks for writing to Us.
The left sided ear pain /eye pain/nose block/left sided head ache is a separate entity and an incidental CT finding of nodular calcified rt basal ganglia has nothing to do with your above symptoms.
Please take appropriate Antibiotics/Analgesic/Antiinflammatories/Decongestant nasal Sprays for your ENT problem which in all probabality is a Sinusitis with Eustachean Catarhh. The contiguous areas such as myalgia is presenting as headache and periorbital pain.
Kindly also do Steam Inhalation and Abstain from Smoking and Cold to touch Refrigerated beverages/food.
For the calcified lesion in the Basal ganglia and Healed Granuloma ,you may have a consultation with a qualified NeuroSurgeon and it does not need any intervention except for two weeks of Anti -helminthics of Imidazole Class of Drugs(Albendazole) or Ivermectin group of medicines.
Wishing you a very speedy recovery.
Best Regards,

Pathologist and Microbiologist Dr. Shailja Puri 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM

The calcification of basal ganglia, parieto-occipital region and paracalfine region will not cause pain or any othet symptom localized to head and face area of contralateral side.

The symptoms are due some other pathology.
Left sided headache, nose block, eye pain and ear pain are due to some problem of the nasal or nasopharangeal tract.
It can be due to some mass or some lesion in the nasal cavity or the para-nasal tract.

You should consult an ENT specialist and get complete examination. You may require CT scan of head & neck area and face to know the exact cause.

Thanks and take care
