Left Side Pains. Ultra Sound Scan Results Show 1, 3cmm Depth Of Fluid In The Douglas Pouch. What Are It's Implications? Treatment Needed?

I had an ultra sound scan , results which showed 1,3cmm depth of fluid in the douglas pouch . I had to take this scan because I am experiencing left side pains . What is the implications of this depth of the fluid ? Do I need any treatment ? Could this be the cause of the pain .
