Left Knee Numb, Lump Felt Above Knee, Ultrasound Normal. Possible Reason?

For the last couple of months i have noticed that above the left knee i get an area that goes numb and yesterday i felt like a cyst or lump just above the knee, not sure if this is related but a few years ago i had with the same leg an indentation of the outer thigh that is getting deeper too, i did have an ultrasound done or it then but they did not see anything

Hi:

numbness can be due to many causes such as nerve pathology in spine or in the thigh. but if you have new lump then another ultrasound scan can help
