Late Periods, Cramps, Nausea, Spotting And Heavy Bleeding With Clots During Periods Time. Miscarriage?

I have a very regular menstral cycle but this month I was 3 days late. The week prior to being late I was having alot of abdominal cramps and nausea which I've never had prior to having my cycle. On day 1 of being late, no spotting, on day 2 of being late, spotting, nausea, and more cramping, on day 3 of being late sever cramping, nausea, and heaving bleeding with clots. I didn't take a ept after my cycle was late. When calculating when conception might occurred, my husband and I had sex. Could I be miscarriaging?

Hi,
To find an answer to your question, you should take a serum beta-hCG assay as a urine pregnancy test may not be of use now. If you have always had regular 28-30 day cycles and never missed a period, it is quite possible that you may have conceived. A chemical pregnancy may have to be ruled out. The serum beta-hCG levels can give you a confirmatory evidence and dwindling levels, if positive, would clearly indicate the presence of a miscarriage. Hope this helps. Take care.

Hi Dear,
If your previous cycles were regular than a missed period followed by heavy bleeding could well be due to miscarriage' this could be tested easily with a urine pregnancy test or confirmed better by B HCG test. If the test turns out to be possitive, kindly consult your doctor and get the required treatment. Undue delay may result in unnecessary blood loss
