Laser Treatment Done For A Torn Retina. Blurry Vision, Floaters. Need Further Treatment?

I had a torn retina & it was lasered to fix it, (which appears to be doing very well) since then I have had VERY blurry vision that starts with what looks like someone scribbling with a sharpie inside my eye then it changes to look like someone put a lot of pepper flecks in my eye. I also see some very large floaters. The fluid in my eye is no longer clear (per pictures by an eye doctor). My surgeon says not to worry & it will go away, but from what I have read when it is in the fluid of they eye it needs to be corrected immediately. I don't go back to the doctor for another week. it has already been one week. should I worry?

Hello
First ,why did you develop a torn retina? Are you a high myope(short-sighted),or have diabetes retinopathy(complication due to uncontrolled diabetes) or are slightly aged(Posterior vitreous detachment).
If it has been lasered,it usually settles down with time and you need not worry. The fluid in the eye(vitreous) may have had a minor bleed. So please see your doctor as per schedule.Avoid exertion and driving till the doctor says so.
