Large Mole On Face Above Upper Lip. Removing Causes Scar. What Do I Do?

I have a large mole on my face just above my upper lip .....have seen a doctor to remove......he says it will cause scaring. and could cause my upper lip to rise if removed surgicially......saw this product called Dermatend.
