Large Localized Posterior Wall Adenomyosis Removed Previously. Ultrasound Done. What Do The Results Indicate?
Hi ...
I'm a 47 year old female. I had a large localized posterior wall adenomyosis removed back in Dec. 2005. U.S. follows ups after that revealed thickening in the uterine wall between 14 - 20 mm. I took hormons for a while but stopped for several years now.
I did another US today and the result was "thickened endometrial wall measuring about 5.8 cm showing small hypoechoic focal lesion masuring about 1.1 x 0.9 cm. There was no mention of hyperpalsia or anything.
according to age of 47 years endometrial thickness ( thickness is abnormal) is increased u have not discussed about symptoms if u have any bleeding or not ,if u are suffering from bleeding next step for u is endometrial aspiration for pathological character of disease. As pathology is must for confirmation of disease .................................................
