Large Line Bruises On Thighs. Advise?

I have just noticed large line bruises on both the outside and inside of my thighs, like where the seams of jeans would go. At first I thought they were swollen veins, but the one on the right outside thigh is about an inch wide, which I would think to be too wide for a vein. About five days ago, I felt pain when crouching down and saw later that I had developed an unexplained bruise right under the back of my right knee. What do these line bruises mean?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be localised purpura or phlebitis.

Cause may be slow trauma from pressure of jeans, infection some internal disease.

Blood investigations should be done to evaluate the condition.

Oral vitamin C , vitamin K and antibiotics should be taken.

Thrombophob ointment should be applied.

Take rest and keep the affected leg elevated.

I hope you might be benefitted.

Still, you cosult dermatologist.

Thanks.
